How does it work?
Shock wave therapy uses ultrasonic waves that penetrate the deep soft structures of the body to break up scar tissue and promote healing. A sensation of pressure will be felt over the targeted area during therapy. The treatment can be adjusted to suit individual needs.

Shock wave therapy treats a wide variety of things including but not limited to: plantar fasciitis, knee pain, elbow pain, arthritis, rotator cuff impingement, frozen shoulder, chronic back pain and more.
What does a session encompass?
A gel medium is applied to the suggested treatment area. One round of shock wave therapy take approximately 5-6 minutes. It is recommended to come in once a week for at least 8 weeks.
