It is often times the repetitive stress and faulty movement patterns that we fall into throughout the day that lead to abnormal ware and tear on our joints that over time lead to fibrotic scar tissue built up and pain. With advanced training in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Liebensons Mag 7, and a few others screening systems we pride ourselves on being able to locate your movement and postural dysfunctions that may have lead to your pain in the first place.
These exercises are not always focused around your pain but are often focused on correcting posture and proper movement. We believe that if you move better you will start to feel better. Combining our hands on integrated approach with our corrective exercises we are focused on getting you out of pain and keeping you there.
Traditional rehabilitation often times focus on strengthening and stretching muscles around a painful joint. While that does have its time in place that traditional approach often falls short. Muscles do not just move in isolation but they move in patterns and with a functional rehabilitative approach we can help correct those patterns and allow your body to heal and stay healthy.
