How does it work?
Pulse wave therapy uses ultrasonic waves that penetrate the deep soft structures of the body to break up scar tissue and promote healing. A sensation of pressure will be felt over the targeted area during therapy. The treatment can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
What does it treat?
Pulsewave therapy treats a wide variety of things including but not limited to: plantar fasciitis, arthritis, rotator cuff impingement, frozen shoulder, chronic back pain and more.
What does a session encompass?
A gel medium is applied to the suggested treatment area. One round of pulse wave therapy takes approximately 3 to 4 minutes. For the best results, 3 rounds are recommended during one session. Research suggests patients complete a minimum of 12 sessions. To see maximal benefits, it's done 2-3x/weekly.
